Ayurveda me bhojan ke 3 mukhya niyam hain jo sharir aur manasik swasthya ke liye mahatvapurn hain:
1. Samay ka Palan (Samay par Bhojan)
• Bhojan ko hamesha nirdharit samay par karna chahiye.
• Pratah kaal me nashta, madhyanh me dopahar ka bhojan aur sandhya kaal me halka raat ka bhojan karna uchit hai.
• Anuchit samay par bhojan karna agni dosh (pachan kriya ki asamanta) ka karan ban sakta hai.
2. Matrata ka Palan (Sahi Matra me Bhojan)
• Hamesha apni kshamata ke anusaar bhojan karna chahiye.
• Atibhojan (adhik bhojan) ya alp bhojan (kam bhojan) se dosh utpann hote hain.
• Bhojan ke baad pet me thoda sthaan khaali chhodna chahiye, taki pachan sahi roop se ho.
3. Satvik Bhojan ka Chayan (Gunvaan aur Taza Bhojan)
• Bhojan hamesha taaza, shudh aur satvik hona chahiye.
• Taseer ke hisaab se ritu-anusar bhojan ka chayan karna chahiye (jaise, sheet ritu me garm taseer wale padarth aur garmiyon me sheetal padarth lena).
• Bhojan ko prem aur shanti ke saath khana chahiye, bina kisi vichar ya tanav ke.
Ye niyam apko swasth aur santulit jeevan ke liye margdarshan dete hain.
